This drop is curated by Mercè Torres Ràfols, a visual artist based in Gothenburg. Mercè has united photographers that find in the natural world means for understanding the changes and identities of the places that we inhabit.
Mercè’s work looks at the histories and stories that place make a territory, a land, a coast.
She’s interested in the questions regarding inheritance, of a place, of a tradition. The epistemology of a specific territory: How knowledge has trespassed and how we get to understand something anew.
