Ioulia Florentzi is a visual artist born in Kavala, Greece, in 1998. She graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2022 with an integrated master’s degree in Fine Arts. She is currently based in Gothenburg, where she is pursuing her first year in an MFA in Artistic Research at HDK-Valand. In her artistic practice, she explores femininity, womanhood, gender politics, and autobiography through a feminist lens, with her main media being embroidery and textiles.
