Anna Julkunen (b.1989, Södertälje) is a Swedish-Finnish visual artist with a Masters in Fine Art Photography from HDK-Valand. She works with still photography as well as video, sound, and text. During the last years, Julkunen has kept a record of her dreams, to learn more about the phenomenon and the methods of interpreting them through symbols in Finnish mythology.
The main focus of her artistic practice has centered around investigating how the use of photography and artistic research can be used to document and preserve one's spiritual inheritance.
