WE DON'T WANT TO BE A GALLERY
Walking into a gallery has always felt strange to us. There’s an invisible wall between art, client, and artist that makes the entire experience just awkward. There are rules, expectations and rituals that no one tells you about. We are here to change all that and make buying art a breeze.
We’re not confined by the conventional norms and constraints of a typical gallery setting. Instead, we offer a dynamic and inclusive platform where art lovers and creators can connect on their terms.
WHO IS COMA?
MERCÈ TORRES
The artists' voice and Curator in residency. Mercè is an artist and photographer, who is also active in artist-run collectives around Sweden.
ROBERTO PÉREZ
Our product and business whisperer. Roberto is our art lover with more than 10 years of experience building and launching new technology products.
LANE COPE
The in-house design department. Lane is a designer focused on branding and art direction who happens to also be the cofounder of his own branding studio, Heavy.
BEING AN ARTIST IS HARD
The gap between creating the art and selling it is enormous. We bridge that divide by offering a supportive environment where artists can gain visibility and connect directly with potential buyers.
COMA was born from the need to create a space for emerging and breakthrough artists to showcase their work to the world without barriers. Every artist deserves a chance to shine, and we're here to help make that happen.
HUR FUNKAR DET?
- Kuratorn erhåller mellan 5 %och 8 % av försäljningspriset, beroende på omfattningen av kuratorns inblandning i produktionen och typen av utställning (t.ex. en högre procentsats för en mer ingående studie och omfattande kontext, och en lägre procent för en renodlad estetisk utställning).
-Alla procentsatser är exklusive moms.
- Vi tar för tillfället bara emot samarbeten från Sverige.
