Émilie Vesvre was born in Paris and raised in Knivsta, she now lives and works in Stockholm. She has previously been educated at the bachelor's program in artistic photography at HDK-Valand, where she graduated in 2023.

"I work with magic and the forest with a post-anthropocene thinking. What I’m trying to achieve in my work is to explore places that can’t be seen by the eye itself but can be built through photography. Our world needs to be healed, mankind needs to heal from its ego-based past. And I hope to heal a little part of it with my practice".
